Erik Bassan is a Cinematographer based in Sofia, Bulgaria where he works almost exclusively with the largest studio on the Balkans- NuBoyana Film Studios.
His ambition to tell powerful stories through light is backed up by extensive knowledge gathered during years of work in NuBoyana's Camera Rental and honored by the FSU academic prowess.
Erik is versed not only in the new but also in the traditional ways of filming - often opting for a light meter rather than false color & a geared head rather than a fluid.
His previous experience as a Grip, Gaffer and Assistant Camera, combined with his kind and caring nature makes for effortless and pleasurable on-set collaboration that you can be a part of!
